Been working more of late, planning for Halloween displays and purchasing items, working out what needs to be bought and where everything will go, sot hat is entertaining. Cooking here and there, eager to get back to culinary program and just hope I don't screw up a ton and can do a decent job at it. Have quite a backup of netflix horror films to be watching, actually (They, The Girl Next Door, Shutter, Philosophy of a Knife). Looking to go out next week to the Santa Cruz beach boardwalk, they have like two dark rides/spookhouses plus a horror walkthrough, so lots of photos of that plus boardwalk food are forthcoming. At work, unfortunately, our boss saw fit to hire new kennel worker who is a perfectly reasonable and polite lass, has mild mental disorder, but totally can't function on her own or do any sort of reasonable work the right way, no matter how many times she gets shown how. Now, it isn't rocket science....the main tasks are walking dogs, cleaning kennels, feeding animals, vacuuming/mopping, folding towels, and taking out garbage. This person has shown zero improvement, needs direction after five weeks for every task, and still does a slow, and very poor job of all of it, and she still remains employed, earning money to half ass all the work and play Nintendo DS, eat dinner, or work on her handwritten Pokemon novel. I don't understand people sometimes.
